Painted wheels undergo a chemical stripping process , while uncoated wheels move directly into the smoothing phase . First, the wheels are glass bead blasted to remove impurities. Then, they go through a two-stage vibratory grinding process : Coarse grinding removes burrs. Fine grinding ensures a perfectly smooth surface. For special finishes , we intensify the process to achieve a mirror-like, high-gloss look ! Step 2: The Powder Coating Process In a sterile environment , the prepped wheels undergo our cutting-edge coating process . Electrostatically charged powder is applied in up to three layers for maximum durability. Each layer is carefully inspected to ensure a flawless finish .
