With our in-house powder coating facility, we can now produce wheels with exceptionally high-quality, long-lasting finishes —all crafted in Germany. This advanced process ensures maximum durability , providing optimal protection against corrosion, chemicals, and mechanical wear.
What is Powder Coating?
Powder coating is a multi-step, high-tech process that applies an ultra-durable protective layer to the wheel surface. Thanks to cutting-edge SPS control technology and automation , we achieve unparalleled efficiency and sustainability . Beyond classic powder coating, we also offer a high-gloss polished finish , delivering a mirror-like shine on request!

Step 1: Preparation & Pre-Treatment
For flawless coating results , meticulous preparation is essential. Painted wheels undergo a chemical stripping process , while uncoated wheels move directly into the smoothing phase .
First, the wheels are glass bead blasted to remove impurities.
Then, they go through a two-stage vibratory grinding process :
Coarse grinding removes burrs.
Fine grinding ensures a perfectly smooth surface.
For special finishes , we intensify the process to achieve a mirror-like, high-gloss look !
Step 2: The Powder Coating Process
In a sterile environment , the prepped wheels undergo our cutting-edge coating process .
Electrostatically charged powder is applied in up to three layers for maximum durability.
Each layer is carefully inspected to ensure a flawless finish .
The coated wheels are then cured in high-temperature ovens , creating an ultra-durable, long-lasting surface .

Step 3: Marking & Quality Control (QC)
After coating, each wheel receives a permanent laser engraving , certifying the authenticity and quality of the WF powder coating.
The engraving includes the production date and specifications for full traceability.
